Based on Smith Magazine’s project by the same name, our campaign relies on your willingness to describe your experience with the disease in six words. Finding the words to express your overall emotions or just an aspect of your diagnosis or treatment may be difficult. The mini-stories below and those posted in 2013 show that although it may be challenging, writing your six words about breast cancer can be cathartic and inspirational.  (more…)

Breast Cancer Six-Word Memoirs for BCAM 2013 – Week of Oct. 13

You’ve submitted them, and we’ve posted them – here’s week three of LBBC’s breast cancer six-word memoirs! Inspired by Smith Magazine’s project, the Six-Word Memoir, we’ve started a campaign to highlight your experience with breast cancer using the six words that best describe your journey (or an aspect of it). This campaign is ongoing throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
